Job description

Carbonteq is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Project Manager to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent university graduate eager to kickstart their career in project management. The Junior Project Manager will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects while learning the fundamentals of project management in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the kickoff of projects by supporting senior team members in understanding customer problem statements and helping to propose solutions.
• Support the management of the product backlog by assisting in the breakdown of requirements into actionable tasks under the guidance of senior team members.
• Participate in Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective) to gain hands-on experience in agile project management.
• Engage with stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure clear communication, with the guidance of a mentor.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in team retrospectives and feedback sessions.
• Learn to track and communicate project progress and performance using basic metrics and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to project proposals, including helping to draft feature lists and understanding project scope.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication between the development team and stakeholders by assisting in coordination efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Computer Science(Only fresh or recently graduated candidates will be considered)
• Familiarity with project management principles, especially in the context of software projects.
• Basic knowledge of project management tools.
