Full job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the teacher in managing the classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials, including setting up equipment and resources for lessons.
• Help with classroom activities, including projects, experiments, and interactive learning sessions.
• Supervise students during breaks, field trips, and other school activities.
• Provide additional support to students with special educational needs or learning disabilities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents as needed.
• Assist with light administrative tasks, such as copying, filing, and organizing classroom materials.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is preferred.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of educational practices and child development.
