Job Overview:
As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing various events and functions . You will work closely with the marketing and PR team to ensure that all events are aligned with the company's objectives and brand image. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute events such as product launches, conferences, seminars, and corporate meetings.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all event logistics are in place, such as venue, catering, audio-visual equipment, and guest list.
Develop event concepts and themes that align with the company's objectives and brand image.
Create detailed event timelines and schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame.
Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Promote events through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and press releases.
Collaborate with the marketing and PR team to create event collateral, such as invitations, programs, and signage.
Oversee event setup and breakdown, and ensure that all event materials and equipment are properly handled and stored.
Attend events to ensure smooth execution and handle any on-site issues that may arise.
Collect and analyze event feedback to continuously improve future events.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate setting.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
Creative thinker with a strong eye for design and event aesthetics.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
