Job Title: HR Business Partner

Location: Doha, Qatar

An exciting opportunity has become available to join Boeing and the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa & Central Asia HR team as a HR Business Partner based in Doha. This is a great opportunity for a business-focused and dynamic professional who will be working with business leaders and HR COEs in developing and executing HR strategies and programs.

The selected candidate will join a dynamic, global team aimed at crafting the future of HR at Boeing to drive business value, a best-in-class employee experience and effective delivery of HR programs, services, and support in the following key areas:

The Role

Reporting to the regional Senior HR Manager, the role will lead a team of HR professionals in Qatar, supporting 400 employees in-country. The position leads the team in collaborating with other key groups in the Human Resources organization to deliver high quality, seamlessly integrated HR support for the business, the employees and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, guidance and leadership for the HR team to support world-class HR operational service delivery to businesses, managers and employees located in Qatar.
  • Partner with the regional and global HR team (HR Business Partners and specialized HR COEs) to design, develop and deploy HR strategies, programs and processes, in alignment with organization goals, industry best practices and local labor laws.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the business providing guidance, insights and solutions for matters across the HR agenda.
  • Provide strategic guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and contribute to the continuous simplification and improvement of HR processes and development of regional HR initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of diversity & inclusion where employee experience is at the center of HR service delivery.
  • In alignment with the COEs, help support the delivery of key HR services (e.g. relocation support, benefits administration) and processes throughout the year.
  • Implement a system of HR metrics to measure progress on goals and determine the effectiveness of support provided.

Required Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills)

  • Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience, leading and driving people strategies, processes and key HR initiatives.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Senior Leaders/Executives to establish strategic plans on objectives.
  • At least 5 years proven experience of working in the Middle-East region.
  • In-depth demonstrable knowledge of Qatar labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to develop end-to-end HR strategies and drive implementation.
  • Fluent Arabic speaker.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer orientated and agile.
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills)

  • Bachelor’s degree required or higher. Professional HR accreditation preferred.
  • A strong natural leadership style that moves people to act, motivates and inspires excellence and innovation.
  • Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply.
  • A high degree of cultural sensitivity, ability to work effectively with multi-cultural and business teams, including remote-working teams.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Doha, Qatar. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable Qatar law.
