Job Summary:
As a Tosca Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration,
maintenance, and optimization of the Tosca Test Automation platform.
You will work closely with QA teams, developers, and IT departments to ensure that Tosca is
effectively utilized for automated testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Install, configure, and maintain the Tosca Test Automation
environment, including managing Tosca servers, workbenches, and licenses.
Test Automation: Support the creation and execution of automated test scripts and test
cases using Tosca, ensuring they align with testing requirements and project goals.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Tosca platform,
including managing system resources and addressing performance issues.
User Management: Administer user roles and permissions within Tosca, configure access
controls, and provide support to users for Tosca-related queries and issues.
Integration: Integrate Tosca with other tools and systems in the development and testing
ecosystem, such as CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and defect tracking tools.
Reporting: Generate and manage test execution reports, track test results, and provide
insights into test coverage and defect metrics.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of Tosca configurations, test
cases, and procedures to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on Tosca
functionalities, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Upgrades and Maintenance: Plan and execute Tosca upgrades, patches, and routine
maintenance to ensure the platform remains up-to-date and secure.
Collaboration: Work closely with QA teams, developers, and other stakeholders to
understand testing requirements and ensure that Tosca supports the organization’s testing
needs.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a Tosca Administrator or in a similar
role managing test automation platforms.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Tosca Test Automation, including administration,
test script development, and execution.
Integration: Experience integrating Tosca with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and
defect tracking tools.
Performance Tuning: Expertise in optimizing Tosca performance and troubleshooting
performance issues.
Scripting: Familiarity with scripting and programming languages used in test automation. 6.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work
effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
field (or equivalent experience).
