Supply Chain Manager

The Position
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will supervise and manage the affiliate’s supply chain and logistics activities in the Gulf Cluster (Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Yemen). You will focus on ensuring products availability with optimal supply chain performance indicators and a continuous improvement mindset.
Other accountabilities will include:
  • Organize Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, Effective collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders
  • Support with all performance analyses such as in-market monthly demand and update of all relevant forecasting systems
  • Close collaboration and alignment with the Business Area and effective communication with the Region/Headquarters as relevant
  • Support launch excellence of new products in the affiliate, timely update of the relevant forecast, and monitoring of stock levels
  • Working closely with the distributors to manage the affiliate’s day-to-day supply chain activities such as ordering, securing importation approvals, customs clearance, and inventory management…etc.
Qualifications
As a Supply Chain Manager, you need to be good at prioritizing, have a solid analytical and quality mindset, detail-oriented with strong follow up capacity, be good at building and maintaining constructive relations with your colleagues and stakeholders across all levels and functions in the organization.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or logistics preferably in the FMCG or pharmaceutical industry
  • University degree in Management, Engineering, or equivalent is a must; Postgraduate studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Project Management are a plus
  • Experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting
  • Computer Skills such as PowerPoint and Excel in analysis and forecasting, with experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Proficiency in oral and written English is a must; Proficiency in Arabic is a bonus
About The Department
The Finance and Operations (F&O) department mission is to ensure optimal planning and deployment of the company resources as well as maintain a close collaboration with Products Supply (PS) and our distributors to ensure product availability for our patients.
As such, some of F&O core responsibilities include running the strategic financial planning and the S&OP process, delivering robust reporting and analysis, smooth accounting, taxes, supply chain and procurement day-to-day transactions, drive the digital, data and IT agenda …etc.
