ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:

Salary: £30,655.45 (pro rata) per annum
Working Hours: Fixed Term Contract (9 months), Part Time, 20 hours, 3 days a week (flexible on days and shifts to suit business needs, discussed at interview)
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting an Administrative Assistant, part-time to cover on a fixed term basis for nine months in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The main aim of the role is being responsible for providing administrative support services to the G4S Management and Operational teams and to provide support to the contract staff managing payroll and personnel queries.
Key Responsibilities
- To maintain central office systems, ensuring that records are accurate and consistent with relevant company procedures.
- Maintain and deliver various staff related procedures in accordance with G4S FM HR processes and procedures, including but not limited to:
- Sickness/Absence recording, tracking and reporting.
- Weekly and monthly reconciliation of Kronos timecards.
- Holiday & TOIL recording, tracking and reporting.
- Creating and updating personnel files.
- Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process.
- Supporting with Inductions for new starters, including preparation of staff handbook and new starter documentation.
- Issuing offer letters and Terms and Conditions of Employment.
- Annual appraisal support.
- To provide statistical information to the SMT in preparation of the monthly trading report.
- To attend and support meetings providing minute taking services.
- Have a sound understanding of the Hinkley Point C Site Operations Agreement and keep up to date with yearly updates.
- Assist in the administration, document control and coordination of the contract QMS.
- To handle telephone enquiries, both internal and external.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential Criteria:
- Sound knowledge of IT systems (word, excel, google suite).
- Confidentiality.
- Organised and methodical.
- Reliable & conscientious with an eye for detail.
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of Kronos, Workforce and WIMS.
- Payroll software experience an advantage.
- Basic understanding of HR processes.
