THE ROLE

We are seeking a driven, ambitious and agile Engagement Manager to join our Customer Success team in the US or Canada. The Engagement Manager is responsible for the transactional project management of tactical projects and will have no account management duties. This role focuses purely on ensuring that tactical projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with contractual obligations. The Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating internal teams, managing timelines, and maintaining high-quality project execution.

The successful candidate will ensure that projects are well-coordinated, milestones are met, and deliverables are achieved as per contractual agreements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are adhered to, without the responsibilities of managing client relationships or expanding accounts. This position is remote (although can be office based or hybrid, depending on your location) and may involve occasional travel to meet with clients and internal teams throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and execution of tactical projects using tools to manage timelines, tasks, and deliverables
  • Ensure all project details are aligned with the contract and delivered efficiently
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure all project deliverables are met, using a "right-first-time" approach to achieve excellence in project execution
  • Apply agile project management methods, focusing on iterative development, flexibility, and continuous collaboration to adapt to changing project requirements and deliver value efficiently
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows across tactical projects, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Collaborate with the Resourcing Portfolio Coordinator to ensure the right resources are allocated to projects, aligning with the costing model for maximum efficiency and profitability
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and in line with internal processes and compliance requirements
  • Use systems such as Salesforce and OpenAir for accurate reporting
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of project coordination experience, within life sciences, clinical trials, or related industries
  • Biometrics project management experience
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with GCP and regulatory requirements
  • Working in a cross functional environment, with experience of leading studies to completion
