The Role Key Responsibilities: - Data Entry: Accurately enter financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and other accounting documents into the company’s accounting system. - Account Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts, ensuring the correctness of financial data entries and resolving discrepancies. - Document Organization: Maintain and organize financial documents, ensuring that they are easily accessible and up to date. - Financial Reporting Assistance: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of data. - Tax Compliance Support: Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other tax-related filings. - Collaboration: Work closely with the senior accounting team and other departments to support overall financial operations.
Requirements
Proven experience in data entry and general accounting tasks. - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools. - Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, Cegid, or other relevant systems is preferred but not mandatory. - Knowledge of UAE tax laws (e.g., VAT) is a plus but not mandatory. - Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Previous experience in an international or French-based company is a plus.
