1. To follow-up with customers for collection of due amounts in an effective manner for timely payments.
2. To prepare and verify information provided for to create credit and debit notes, invoices and journal vouchers (J.V) therefore ensuring authenticity of all receivables transactions.
3. To assist in the preparation of the monthly AR report and act as Back-Up to prepare the same if and when required.
4. To ensure compliance with approved payment terms and credit terms (where applicable)
5. To participate in various activities involved in Month-End and Year-End financial closing periods
6. Provide support in customer disputes in terms of providing financial history to internal stakeholders
7. Ensure smooth processes for customers in terms of timely closure of tasks that impact customer accounts. These may include but are not limited customer payment matching, passing required entries, closure of tasks for license renewal, end of lease, refunds etc.
8. Prepare monthly Bank reconciliation reports as applicable;
9. Achieve KPI’s related to timely closure of Service Requests and Open Calls pertaining to Bounced Cheques, Finance Clearance, Customer Account Reconciliation, Balance Confirmation, etc.
