Job description

Key Output/ Task ONE: Lead the design, development, and delivery of employee-focused programs (e.g., talent management, employment engagement and performance management) that help the organization attract and retain top talent and reinforce company culture/values
Key Output/ Task TWO: Develop and deploy a multi-year talent management strategy and program designed to continually enhance the knowledge and growth of associates to advance APO’s objectives and values.
Key Output/ Task THREE: Lead the internal learning and development initiatives. Creates and fosters a learning culture. Ensures the training strategies are focused on the personal, professional, and organizational needs while providing the training needed to enable the organization to achieve its mission.
Key Output/ Task FOUR: Establish trusted relationships with managers and employees, acting as consultants and providing guidance on HR matters. Actively participate in strategic discussions, offering insights and solutions that align HR initiatives with business goals.
Key Output/ Task FIVE: Strategically partner with the business stakeholders to enhance performance management, communication, and workforce productivity and translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans
Experience or skills required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources with MNC background, preferably from sourcing, buying, trading or manufacturing industry
  • Solid experience in talent management
  • Well versed in China labour laws and employment regulations and practices
  • Ability to understand business strategies and translate them into actionable and compelling talent development initiatives
  • Collaborative and influential in partnering with Business Leaders
  • A strategic thinker who connects business strategy with outcomes and financial responsibility
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in responding to changes and diversity
  • Substantial problem-solving skills with strategic focus on process mapping, task management and execution
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese / Mandarin
