Job Description: Waterloo Software Engineering Co-op
NCR Voyix’s Waterloo Software Engineering organization is building world-class Banking applications used by some of the top financial organizations in the world. We are currently hiring co-op students for various Software Engineering positions in our Waterloo office, for 4, 8, 12, or 16-month work terms. These positions include Software Development, Performance Testing, DevOps Engineering, Automated Testing, Technical Writing, Project Coordination, Product Owners, and more. Co-ops at NCR will get hands-on experience working alongside fulltime employees on key projects and will help to solve challenging issues and contribute to building high-quality software products. NCR was recently named a "Top 100 Global Tech Leader" by Thomson Reuters. We are using state of the art technologies along with Agile software development methodologies to deliver innovative solutions to the customers we serve.

Duties & Responsibilities

NCR offers a fun, friendly, team-focused, collaborative work environment. Our Waterloo office employs numerous co-ops each work term, in various software development roles. Our co-ops are treated with respect and are given challenging, meaningful tasks which provide great learning opportunities, and which directly contribute to the success of our programs. Beyond certain core working hours, work hours are fairly flexible. There are opportunities to socialize with other employees and co-ops through virtual games afternoons, and in-office activities such as foosball, ping pong, and other special events throughout the year. Many co-ops return for more than one work term or go on to join us in full-time positions after graduation.
