About the Position:

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Data Analyst to join the Emirates Transport - Business Excellence team. The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data to provide valuable insights, support commercial functions, develop reports, and aid decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and effective communication of findings.

Key Accountabilities:

• Gather data from various sources including databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Perform data cleaning to ensure data integrity and quality.
• Transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Perform statistical analysis to support business decisions.
• Develop predictive models to forecast future trends.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Oracle BI.
• Develop data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
• Present findings to stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
• Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data infrastructure supports analytical needs.
• Provide training and support to team members on data tools and techniques.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis.
• Recommend process improvements and implement best practices in data analysis.

Expected Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience and Skills Set:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, R, or Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Oracle BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality.
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar position.
