Job Description:

Hostess is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests.

Passionate Hostess who always strives to provide a Four Seasons experience to our guests. We believe we have the perfect opportunity for a rising star who feels ready to take on the next role by joining an incredible team of professionals in The Pearl - Qatar.

The Hostess is responsible for ensuring the prompt recognition and seating of all guests in outlets as assigned and assists the servers in providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience.

• Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Be attentive of guests' needs assist in providing a pleasant dining experience.
• Know how to prepare cashier report at the end of the shift.
• Know how to properly take reservations for outlets.

• Perform opening and closing duties according to established sidework checklist.
• Have a complete knowledge of standards of service
• Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in all applicable departments.
• Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Must able to train other hostess

Job Requirements:

• Background in Luxury Hotel/Resort is an advantage
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in French Restaurant
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• A degree in Hospitality Management is preferred
