We are recruiting a Project Support Officer to join the team. The role of the Project Support Officer covers a diverse range of activities to support the delivery of project priorities. You will enable the smooth running of projects by helping them through the operation of project management processes, and the coordination of business management actions and activities. General responsibilities range from implementing and maintaining project controls such as on scheduling and risk management to ensure effective delivery. You will also contribute to the development of business cases, support with budget management, produce project status reports and build and maintain excellent professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. You will manage the administration of Project Team and Project Board meetings in line with project governance.

The team
You’ll join our Project Support Office Team in the Environment and Business Directorate. Our nationally dispersed team of Project Managers and Project Support Officers share and learn from each other, championing and improve project delivery to deliver the best outcomes for the environment.
