SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Quality Control / Hardware position plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and precision of screen-printed Chrome Hearts apparel. This role involves meticulously adding Chrome Hearts custom hardware to garments based on work orders and contributing to various inter-departmental tasks related to staging and finished goods preparation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Accurately size and affix stickers to garments.
  • Identify and set aside any garments with subpar print quality.
  • Skillfully package garments and return them to their designated boxes.
  • Individually fold garments, including sweaters, sweatshirts, and leggings.
  • Prepare garments for automatic folding machines.
  • Skillfully mark hoods with the appropriate hardware placement.
  • Expertly fuse materials onto hoodies as indicated.
  • Precisely puncture holes in hoodies where required.
  • Secure silver hardware pieces by placing and hammering grommets.
  • Maintain an organized production workflow while keeping an accurate count.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and weekly production goals.
  • Uphold a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive work routine.
  • Ensure a clean and orderly work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience in packaging.
  • Quick learner capable of mastering all responsibilities within a reasonable time frame.
  • Proficient in understanding and distinguishing between quality print standards.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Basic iron application skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication abilities.
  • Capable of working collaboratively with others.
  • Physically fit and able to handle a demanding workload.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of personal accountability and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing with occasional sitting and walking.
  • Frequent repetition of physical motions, which may involve the use of feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  • Requires manual dexterity and close visual attention for various hand operations.
  • Ability to carry and lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs when necessary.
