FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Group HR VP: Canada / USA

Summary: This role supports the Human Resource efforts for Latecoere in the USA. In this role, you will own all areas of the employee lifecycle in collaboration with the Group HR VP and Headquarters in Toulouse, France. The HR (generalist/manager); is a subject matter expert in employment relations and acts as an advisor to senior leadership.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Advising supervisors/managers on various state and federal regulations; provide employee relations support
  • Run and submit various monthly reports to France/HQ
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR processes and procedures in line with the company handbook
  • Work with onsite GM annually during open enrollment for optimum benefit strategies, ensure smooth annual open enrollment
  • Oversee all federal laws to ensure the company remains compliant; provide manager and supervisor training
  • Manage the recruitment process
  • Use performance management tools to provide feedback to manager and team members
  • Manage effective onboarding and offboarding process using the company’s HRIS system and duplicate when necessary to upload employment data to the French Platforms
  • Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with state and federal job posting rules
  • Revise employee handbook annually for updated compliance laws
  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll, review timesheets, and train new managers on time and attendance
  • Trusted advisor – ability to consult management regarding employee progressive discipline best practices
  • Maintain physical or digital files for employees
  • Manage company drug/alcohol testing program
  • Limited travel may be required
