About The Role


The Assistant Manager will be responsible for a portion of one of the 3 areas within the Admissions Department and supervise all Team Leaders and front-line colleagues with the assigned area. Admissions is comprised of the following 3 areas:


  • Arrival - main ticketing plaza, Monorail Ticketing area, Atlantis the Royal Ticketing area, Aquaband Inventory & Sanitation
  • Ancillary Sales & Guest Correspondence - Resort Kiosk Booking Points, Lost Chambers Ticketing, Guest Services Huts, Guest Correspondence (Complimentary bookings, refunds, guest comments, etc)
  • Dolphin Bay/Sea Lion Point - management of Reservations and Orientations, liaising with in-park revenue partners, facilitate all introductory and ongoing training for colleagues Admissions Department


Assistant Manager will aid the Manager with oversight of entire assigned area by acting as MOD, representing manager in his or her absence, and filling in for peers as requested. This position will also be responsible for weekly or monthly colleague schedules, ensuring area specific training is completed by all colleagues, maintaining colleague engagement and motivation, ensuring adherence to Cash Handling Policies, Resort Policies & Procedures, and achievement of Key Performance Indicators, as well as Revenue Goals.


About You


To be successful in this role you need a minimum of three years’ experience leading/supervising a large team and carrying out training in cash handling, transactions, payments along with upselling and reporting. Proficiency in the use of computer software is essential to the position. You will be customer service focused, have excellent organizational skills and comfortably communicate with senior management as well as with junior colleagues. This role has partial exposure to working outdoors across the Aquaventure waterpark area. Previous experience in large admissions operations within an entertainment or hospitality facility is a must, fluency in French, Spanish, German, Russian or Mandarin will be a plus.
