Job description
Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:
Monitor DoD regulations and SOPs for compliance to special security policies and procedures and suggest how best to implement.
Support Collateral and higher access and badges and procedures.
Ensure coordination and compliance with Information Systems/Assurance procedures and DoD regulations.
Update and maintain Security portal folders by daily archiving generated products to include CJTF-OIR CJ2
Security personnel contact information in share folders.
Process visit requests, clearance verifications, DD2875s, memorandums for records, and other required forms to confirm eligibility and notify SSO of issues, as necessary.
Provide ad hoc/anticipated deliverables as directed by the government lead in coordination with the COR Courier Orders, Property Pass, visit requests, clearance verifications, and Memorandums for Record (MFRs).
Conduct Temporary SCIF (T-SCIF) and Collateral site surveys/assessments of collateral facilities to ensure compliance with any and all applicable policies, directive, regulation, SOP to include but not limited to OIR CYBER Directives, IC Directives, FRAGO’s and SOPs.
Troubleshoot routine personnel security, physical security and information security issues that impact personnel, facilities, or networks throughout CJTF-OIR and any subordinate units or other entities within the scope of this contract and elevate complex issues to CJTF-OIR CJ2 SSO.
Utilize standardized forms/templates and MFR as provided by Command Security Officer or Special Security Officer (SSO).
Assist CJTF-OIR SSO with development and maintenance of continuity documentation and update every six (6) months.
Provide a weekly activity report summarizing all activities.
Provide ad hoc/anticipated deliverables are required no latter then (NLT) 24 hours after initial tasking, unless otherwise coordinated with the Government Lead, and COR/ACOR.
Review, assist, verification, and provide on request for NATO and SCI indoctrinations and debriefings.
Conduct Preliminary inquiry investigations on potential security infractions, violations, spillages, and prepare Preliminary Inquiry (PI) reports.
Access, monitor, analysis, and update to Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
Demonstrate knowledge and interpret relevant Army and DoD security regulations.
Provide ad hoc/anticipated deliverables in coordination with the Government Lead and the COR/ACOR.
Recommended any changes to procedure, reports, information papers, and/or briefings/training material, as needed.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Associate Degree OR four years DOD experience with strong job related experience and special skills
At least 4 years of experience in compartmented programs in DoD/IC
Ability to work with customers and provide special security support.
Solid and varied experience in planning/accrediting facilities IAW DCID 1/12 standard
Thorough familiarity with all security clearance processes
Working knowledge of AR 25-50
Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include Part 117 of Title 32, Code of Federal Regulation, formally NISPOM, DCIDS, DOD and DIA M-1 Manual
Working knowledge of security policies and procedures to include the implementation of Executive Order 13526, DOD Directive 5200.01, Volumes 1-4, DOD Directive 5101.21 Volumes 1-3, DOD Directive 5220.22- M, and other national-level directives for physical, personnel, operational, industrial, automation, and information security.
TS/SCI clearance
Preferred: Desired Requirements (nice to have but not required, ex. Education):
Bachelor’s Degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
At least 8 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
2 to 4 Years’ experience in security training and/or security inspections.
Previous deployment experience in Iraq or Afghanistan is preferred.
