Responsibilities:
- Lead directional drilling operations on the rig site & ensure that the desired directional well path and target objectives are achieved.
- Control well bore paths, figuring survey computations, bit hydraulics, rate of penetration, and bottom home assemblies.
- Maintain a complete listing of all directional tools and survey equipment on location, and days on location.
- Responsible for reporting procedures
- Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
- Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Earth Sciences or equivalent.
- Required Experience: 5+ years’ experience at supervisory level role in related service environment and Ten years’ experience in related service sector position(s) in or directly associated with field operations.
