Job description
In this role, your responsibility will be to support the Product Development and Quality Control team in extending the existing DQ portfolio, as well simultaneously enabling it to offer new products and services throughout Qatar.
You will also be required to handle administrative duties in relation to the contracting process and ensure that suppliers meet the quality standards set by DQ.
Other responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Source suppliers, manage their relationship to ensure excellent products, service quality, ROI, and pricing of DQ products in the market.
- Set up all new DQ suppliers in Oracle, administer the contract forms, templates and procedures in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Identify bottlenecks in the contracting process and propose corrective measures to Line Manager.
- Ensure there are adequate products and offers available to support sales and marketing campaigns.
- Follow set SOPs and ensure terms specified in supplier contracts are followed with regards to the booking process, payment and financial terms.
- Perform other ad-hoc departmental duties related to his/her position directed by the Line Manager or Head of Department.
- Ensure that any personal data obtained and processed is treated in accordance with data protection principles followed by the Group, as well as applicable Group policies and Procedures on data protection and information security.

Qualifications
- Relevant Vocational, Tertiary or Trade qualification with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Travel industry qualifications e.g. IATA / UFTAA.
- Experience in reviewing and uploading contracts onto internal systems and working on manual cost sheets.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English.
- Preferably have experience in a product department of a tour operating or travel management company.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
