2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
The role holder is responsible for developing the skills and experience to accurate and timely process sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring of candidates based on the manpower plan and operational requirements for the assigned SBU/Affiliate in line with established policies and standard operating procedures. Learning how staffing needs are met effectively, striking a balance between finding someone fast and finding someone great

1. Review recruitment requests and ensure recruitment activities (e.g. sourcing, screening, selecting and hiring) are completed in a timely manner in accordance to the company policies and procedures.
2. Coordinate with company physician to ensure pre-employment medical tests are completed in a timely manner in accordance to the company policies and procedures.
3. Submit candidates application for HCIS approval as required
4. Maintain and up to date recruitment records
5. Resolve issues related to recruitment activities, if any, and escalate any unresolved issues to Talent Acquisition Section Head
6. Ensure that candidates are notified of the rejected applications along with the appropriate reason for rejection
7. Assist in implementing and maintaining systems, policies and procedures related to Recruitment to ensure adherence to company guidelines in addition to all policies and procedures that the Specialist’s superiors may see fit and applicable for the Recruitment operations
8. Maintain up to date / accurate data in applicant tracking system
9. Contribute to preparation of Recruitment related reports for the management, auditors, etc. as per the directions of the Talent Acquisition Manager or Talent Acquisition Section Head
10. Perform any additional responsibilities passed on by Talent Acquisition Manager or Talent Acquisition Section Head as required

4. Adopt world class trends and best practices in Recruitment with the goal of ultimately driving cost reduction and quality enhancement
5. Contribute to innovation within the Recruitment function, thereby continually enhancing quality and reducing cost by streamlining processes, procedures and automation
6. Define performance goals at the start of the year in coordination with Talent Acquisition Section Head
7. Monitor work quality and escalate any operational issues in a timely manner
8. Keep abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth

1. Build constructive working relationships with manager, peers, clients and other service providers (all stakeholders) to ensure effective stakeholder relationships

3. Coordinate / collaborate with other Recruitment Specialists to resolve operational issues and deliver efficient services
4. Manage internal customer relationships (e.g. hiring manager request for clarification) regarding operational issues
5. Regularly oversee subordinate team staff, if any, for quality and efficiency
