Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs of all Watoto Property,
• Conduct inspection of all Watoto Property to identify needed services and repairs.
• Manage and coordinate emergency and regular repairs to buildings.
• Ensure maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment as per standards.
• Undertake maintenance of Watoto property compounds.
• Maintain and repair Watoto property building interiors and exteriors structural and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, septic, underground water storage tanks roof, gutter leakages roads, and drainage.
• Manage maintenance of compounds that is including tree planting, trimming, and gardening.
• Oversee fumigation of Watoto ministry facilities.
• Maintain the general administration of the maintenance program.
• Support with the preparation and implementation of maintenance improvement plans.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules.
• Support in the preparation of plans for projects.
• Assist in the management and supervision of projects.
• Participate in the management of contracts.
• Maintain and regularly update records and inventories of all projects.
• Supervise contractors and volunteers to ensure a positive and healthy work environment,
• Promote workplace health and safety compliance based on established guidelines.
• Assign tasks and ensure schedules are maintained.
• Supervise contractors and ensure performance is based on the agreed terms and conditions.
• Take corrective action when required.
• Preparation of Reports compounds and roads maintenance a Prepare activity report and work order reports.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience,
• A minimum of a Diploma in Maintenance, plumbing engineering, or any other relevant qualification
• At least 5 years practical working experience in in plumbing maintenance repairs.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft applications.
• Must be willing to live up to organisational values, confident and
• Should possess the ability to write and present analytical and informative reports.
• Should be a good communicator, must have a high level of integrity, confidentiality, trust, good work ethics and sound judgement.
